Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Science, Arts and Commerce was started by SJR Education Society with a noble motive of strengthening the society in-large and educating the less privileged class of society and established in the year 1945 under the name of Veerashaiva Education Society and is located in the heart of the city, Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. It is spread over a sprawling campus of 2.5 acres. The College is dedicated in promoting education, in all branches of learning and inculcating an intellectual culture, which promotes among the students a holistic personality.

The College comes under (2f) and (12b) and is recognized as a College with Potential for Excellence. The College is accredited by NAAC thrice. We adopt innovative methods of teaching and College is equipped with state of the art facilities, full-fledged auditorium, well loaded Library and Labs, Gymnasium, qualified and experienced Faculty. Being in the center of the city, we have always catered to the needs of the rural students.
