Bachelor of Computer Applications is a course that has been designed to make the students ready for a career in the modern IT industry. The course includes several subjects related to computer science, mathematics, and electronics. It is a 3 year ( 6 semester ) course run as per the syllabus and regulations of Bangalore University. Admissions to this course are open for both science and commerce students who have finished their 10+2 level with mathematics as one of the subjects. Admissions usually start after the results of the 10+2 (P.U.C) courses are announced. A BCA graduate can take up a career in either the Government sector or the private sector.
